The hat that changed everything
My creative activity began with designing berets. For a long time, I didn’t take this headwear seriously, not seeing any special potential in it.
Everything changed the moment I saw how the simplest beret could transform into a unique, expressive image with the help of lace, ribbons, and fur. This discovery became my entry point into creativity. I started experimenting with materials, textures, and shapes, observing how the design unfolds, begins to “play” and sound anew in each variant.
Over time, I realized: berets have character. They can be romantic, playful, daring — and each time interact differently with the person wearing them.
I am close to this process of experimentation and transformation. Through working with berets, I explore individuality, style, and the possibility of one item changing the mood, image, and internal state.
