My favorite moment at work
Over the years, I understood one simple thing.
Very often, a woman comes to the mirror already with a ready-made solution.
“Hats don’t suit me.”
“I don’t have the right face.”
“I’m not that age anymore.”
“I can’t wear something like that.”
And you know what’s interesting?
Almost never is it about the hat.
Most often, a person simply once believed other people’s words.
Sometimes it takes one unsuccessful fitting, one casual remark, or one carelessly thrown-out phrase to give up forever on something that could have brought joy.
That’s why I never tell a woman:
“That doesn’t suit you.”
I simply suggest trying on something else.
A different shape.
A different color.
A different mood.
Because my task is not to find the perfect hat.
My task is to help a person see themselves in a new way.
And sometimes one successful fitting is enough for a woman to suddenly straighten her shoulders, smile at her reflection, and look at herself with completely different eyes.
That is the moment I love most.
Not the moment of purchase.
Not the moment when they say: “What a beautiful hat.”
But the instant when a woman suddenly realizes:
“I like what I see in the mirror.”
Probably it is precisely for such moments that I keep creating new looks again and again.
